how do I set the color of blue jeans so they don/t fade?
My new blue jean color is rubbing off on my skin. How do I set the color?
Try adding a cup of vinegar to the rinse water. Then do an extra rinse and add a can of cola product to that water. If you put them in the dryer, add an old white item to see if the blue is still coming off.
To make dark jeans they load a lot of dye into the process. It comes off over time. I’ve heard 3-5 washings.
