My stats aren’t very high at all but what are my chances of getting into med school if I have 3 interviews?
My stats aren’t very high at all but what are my chances of getting into at least one of these schools if I have 3 interviews? Remember, these are DO schools and I already received 3 interviews. I have a 3.1 sci and 3.5 overall. I got a 24 on the MCAT. Should I bank on it?
MCAT scores get you interviews, they don’t get you into medical school. If you have an interview, its depends on you now, not your scores. Take a couple mock interviews with an advisor. Also, if you want to know statistically your chances, you could buy the DO equivalent of the MSAR (I can’t remember the name). It gives you the statistics on the number of accepted people versus the number of interviews. It ranges at med schools from about 1/10 to 1/2, depending on residency, etc.
